The Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has said that the commission is yet to release any information about the ongoing recruitment.
This is contained in a memorandum signed by the Permanent Secretary Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the commission.
Prior to this memorandum, there has been a compiled list of applicants floating around social media. This list a pdf file is said to be for the selected applicants in preparation for screening.
OYOMIND.COM.NG recalled that the commission in February 2020, began the requirement of over 7,000 Teachers to both primary and secondary schools in the state. The process which was greeted with a lot of controversies when the government couldn’t provide an online-based registration for the applicants.
Mrs. Oderinde said “This is to inform the general public that the attention of the Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has been drawn to a list circulating in the Social Media concerning on-going recruitment exercise.
” The said List is false, fictitious and a ruse as no list has been made nor published by TESCOM.
“Members of the Public and particularly applicants are advised to discontinuance with the lists and await authentic information from the Executive Chairman of the Commission after the Covid-19 Lockdown. The public will be rightly informed at the right time.”
