CapitalSage Holdings has marked its 10th anniversary with the opening of its global headquarters in Ibadan, Oyo State, highlighting its growth from a small entrepreneurial venture into a diversified group of companies operating across multiple sectors.
Founded by John Alamu with an initial capital of ₦100,000, the group has expanded over the past decade into financial services and technology, agriculture and food processing, manufacturing, healthcare, and cross-border payment solutions.
Speaking at the anniversary ceremony, Alamu said the group was committed to building businesses from Ibadan that could serve markets across Nigeria, Africa and the rest of the world.
“A business can have global ambitions without abandoning its roots. From Ibadan, we can build for Nigeria. From Nigeria, we can build for Africa. And from Africa, we can build for the world. That is what we are doing,” he said.
He added that the next decade would focus on building stronger and more sustainable businesses that future generations could inherit, improve and develop further.
The event brought together traditional rulers, including the Ooni of Ife, the Olubadan of Ibadan and the Soun of Ogbomoso, alongside other traditional chiefs, board members, business partners, customers, employees and stakeholders.
The anniversary programme featured the official opening of the headquarters, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, remarks from group leadership and presentations on businesses within the CapitalSage portfolio.
As part of the celebrations, CapitalSage Holdings will host a three-day public exhibition from October 29 to 31, 2026, at CapitalSage House, Kenneth Dike, Secretariat Road, Ibadan.
The exhibition will open daily at 10 a.m., allowing visitors to explore participating businesses, discover products and services, and engage with representatives across the group.
