The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has honoured Senator Buhari Abdulfatai, PhD, in recognition of his unwavering support and contributions to the development of Ibadanland.
The honour, bestowed during a ceremony held on Saturday, celebrates the senator’s consistent commitment to advancing infrastructural growth and community development across Oyo State. The CCII described him as a “true friend of Ibadan” whose efforts have significantly impacted the socio-economic landscape of the ancient city.
Presenting the award on behalf of the council, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Rashidi Ladoja, commended Senator Abdulfatai for his dedication to public service and his tangible contributions to the welfare of Ibadan indigenes.
