NEW YEAR: Former SSG Prays for Oyo, Nigeria, Tells Nigerians to Take Covid-19 Precautions

The former Secretary to the Oyo state government, Oloye Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli on Thursday urged Nigerians, especially the people of Oyo state to continue praying for Nigeria, saying; “there is hope for Nigeria.”

He said there are potentials for greater Nigeria and Oyo state in particular.

Alli who stated this in his new year message urged residents of Oyo state to continue praying for betterment of the state and Nigeria at large.

The 2019 governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), in the statement urged government at all levels to renew commitment in rebuilding the country, saying; ” Nigerians deserve better treatment.”

The former Chief of staff to the former governor of the state, Senator Rasidi Ladoja urged Nigerians to be careful with the increase in the number of covid 19 as the figure in the country and Oyo state in particular are increasing.

“In 2020, we faced many challenges, especially that of covid 19. Let us all be focus and maintain all the protocols of covid 19 as prescribed by experts. There are hope for betterment of this great nation. There are potentials in Oyo state and we shall tap those potentials.

“I urged both Christians and Muslims to use this opportunity to pray for betterment of Nigeria. We shall all live to witness prosperous and greatness of our dear state.

“As we are celebrating the new year, I want to appeal to us to be mindful of the scourge of the deadly covid 19 virus which is increasing on the daily bases. It is still very much with us. We have to maintain all the protocol as prescribed by experts.

“I also want to appeal to government at all levels to put more efforts in ensuring that our people benefit more from government. Our people deserve better livelihood. Nigeria shall great again,” he said.
