The Labour Party Governorship Candidate in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Oyo State, Alhaji Tawfiq Akinwale has announced his intention of quiting the party as a result of the intraparty crisis.
Akinwale, who made his decision known on his Facebook page where he announced that, “I am no longer a member of thar Party!. My new Party will be announced later”.
Various speculation has it that, Akinwale quit the Labour Party because he had earlier publicized his reservation against the Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi who failed to recognize his candidature.
