Governor Seyi Makinde has approved Friday, 11th of March, 2022 for the installation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, High Chief Senator Olalekan Ishola Balogun.
This is contained in a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Dr. B.A. Olanrewaju, where he congratulated the Olubadan elect.
Recall that Governor Seyi Makinde earlier approved the appointment of Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland following the recommendation made by the Olubadan-in-Council.
High Chief Lekan Balogun will succeed the late Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji Aje Ogungunniso 1 who died on January 2nd, 2022.
