The National Council of Federation of Iseyin Local Government Students, FILGS has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for the relocation of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Science in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH to Iseyin.
In a statement made available to OYOMIND.COM.NG, the President of the association, Comrade Adefabi Waliu lauded the governor for staying put to his campaign promises and described him as a man who walks his talk.
Comrade Waliu on behalf of the entire students of Iseyin Local Government said “We appreciate the Attributes of His Excellency for fulfilling his campaign promises, your antecedence within the short period in office speaks volume and it has clearly defined you as a governor that works the talk.
“With no iota of doubt, you have expressed your commitment and determination toward having a better Oyo State as it has reflected in your blueprint to enhance quality academic delivery to the people of Oyo State.
“As the National body of the indigenous student union in the town, we will be ungrateful to fail to appreciate your Excellency for the relocation of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Science to Iseyin, the decisioñ is very concise as the town is blessed with fertile land for Agricultural p produce. It is believed that the development will not alone improve the economy of the town alone but the region at large.
“In conclusion, we appreciate His Excellency for the campaign promise kept. As an indigene of the land, we declare our support on this recent development and we promise to be accomodating as usual.”
