Dapo Lam Decries Poor State of Education, Inspects Facilitated Football Pitch, Donates Sporting Kits to Oke’Badan High School

Former member House of Representatives, Hon. Adedapo Lam-Adesina has lamented the poor standard and the state of educational facilities across the public schools in the State.

He made the disapproval while delivering his remarks as Special Guest of Honour at 61st founder’s day anniversary of Oke’Badan High School, Agugu, Ibadan.

Dapo Lam who represented Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency in the 8th National Assembly had earlier featured on Fresh FM popular current affairs programme, Political Circuit where he made similar remarks by urging the present administration in the State to vote more budgetary allocation towards having basic learning amenities in schools.

“Education is the only indimishing legacy that a serious nation can bequeath her generation. Hence, government at all levels need to brace up and do more to refine the future of this country” he stated.

Omo Oloore as jubilantly hailed on his arrival joined the executive officers of the school in ground breaking of the proposed electronic hall commended the series of developmental projects done by the various sets of the the institution in commemoration of the establishment of the college.

Meanwhile, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina also donated sporting kits to Oke’Badan High School, Agugu, Ibadan.

He made the donation on Saturday on the inspection of the level of work done on the construction of football pitch he facilitated for the school during his tenure as federal legislator representing the constituency.

While being conducted round the spots of the sport facilities by the pricinpal of the school, Mr. Oluwemimo Solomon, Hon. Dapo Lam expressed his displeasure over the slow pace of the Construction by saying the project was ought to have been delivered before now. He therefore pledged the donation of sporting kits for the school.

In his expression, Mr. Oluwemimo thanked the emeritus legislator for his efforts towards the upliftment of the moral and infrastructure of the school.
