Shortly after voting, partial result sheets also surfaced online, appearing to show Bisi Ilaka leading in parts of the collation. However, the outcome announced by the party told a different story entirely.
The situation became even more controversial after Bisi Ilaka openly rejected the results, insisting the process did not reflect the will of the people.
Some people have also come out to say the electoral committee officials may have been compromised by the other aspirants.
