Ibadan-based businessman, author and philosopher, Ahmed Ajibola, owner of Copacopana Club, is set to attempt a Guinness World Records title for the most books signed by an author in one hour.
Ajibola will make the attempt on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, during the launch of his new book, The Book of Humanity, at the International Conference Centre, Ibadan, beside the University of Ibadan Second Gate.
The Book of Humanity, subtitled A Philosophical and Spiritual Guide for a Better World, promotes the values of love, compassion, consciousness, morality, forgiveness, wisdom and purpose.
The event, themed “One Hour. A Stronger Humanity,” is expected to attract literature enthusiasts, community leaders and members of the public.
According to the organisers, the Guinness World Records attempt is designed to form a major part of the book launch, with members of the public invited to witness the attempt and participate in the event.
The organisers said the book seeks to encourage people to look beyond religious, racial and other divisions and promote a stronger sense of shared humanity.
