A political support group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu “PBAT Again 2027”, convened by Ambassador Kunle Adeleke, ahead of the 2027 general elections has been officially launched in Ibadan, Oyo State, with organisers describing the initiative as a strategic move to consolidate governance gains and strengthen grassroots mobilisation.
The group aims to rally support for the President’s re-election while promoting continuity, stability, and policy-driven development across the country. Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Kunle noted that the group represents a coordinated structure for political engagement, stakeholder dialogue, and community outreach.
“This occasion is more than the unveiling of a structure. It symbolises our unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR,” he said.
He further described Ibadan as a fitting location for the initiative, citing the city’s historical and political significance in the South-West region and its influence in shaping national discourse. According to him, the movement is designed not merely as a campaign platform but as a vehicle to deepen governance outcomes and sustain ongoing reforms under the current administration.
The convener outlined key objectives of the group, including mobilising support across Oyo State and beyond, creating a platform for youth inclusion and political education, and fostering engagement between policymakers and citizens. He stressed the importance of discipline, unity, and strategic planning in achieving political success, adding that the journey towards 2027 would require deliberate efforts and collective commitment.
Speaking again, Ambassador Kunle also called on party leaders, stakeholders, women, and young people to actively participate in the movement, emphasising that its success would depend on shared values such as integrity, loyalty, competence, and service. The event concluded with a message of readiness and determination, as organisers signalled the beginning of what they described as a long-term effort to shape Nigeria’s political future.
“As we commission this edifice, may it remind us that nation-building demands unity, discipline, and sacrifice. Oyo State stands firm with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC, today and beyond 2027,” he concluded.
