More than a year after the 2019 general election, the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Chief Adebayo AbdulWaheed Adelabu has stated the reason why the agreement with the coalition group didn’t work out.
Adelabu, while speaking on a popular radio station in Ibadan ‘Fresh Fm’, said that he spoke with likes of Senator Ladoja, Senator Lanleyin, and Barrister Sarafadeen prior to the 2019 gubernatorial election but the negotiation failed because he couldn’t agree to some of their terms.
According to Adelabu, the percent which they requested cannot be met and as a technocrat who doesn’t know how to tell lies, he told them the truth.
He stressed further that the aftermath of the lies they chose to go for is what we can all see at the level of the coalition that brought in Governor Seyi Makinde.
