Oyo State has recorded five new cases of coronavirus making it a total of 44 in the state.
The new cases were revealed in a tweet from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at around 11:50pm on Tuesday night.
According to NCDC, a total of 148 new cases were recorded on Tuesday with 43 from Lagos alone.
All together, Nigeria now has 2950 confirmed cases of Covid-19, 481 discharged, and 98 death recorded.
