The political atmosphere in Ibadan North Local Government received a fresh wave of momentum following the official pickup of Expression of Interest Forms for Hon. Ajibola Idris Abiola by concerned youths and loyal supporters under the platform of the Accord Party ahead of the Oyo State House of Assembly election.
The development is seen as a reflection of the growing grassroots acceptance and confidence in the youthful and people-oriented leadership style of the aspirant popularly known as “Irorun” across Ibadan North Constituency I.
Speaking on the development, the youths described Irorun as an emerging grassroots leader whose commitment to youth empowerment, humanitarian service, and community development has continued to earn him admiration among residents of the constituency.
They noted that after wide consultations and assessment of his contributions to the people, they unanimously resolved to support his aspiration for the Oyo State House of Assembly alongside the governorship ambition of Oriyomi Hamzat under the Accord Party.
According to the group, the movement represents a new direction for progressive, inclusive, and people-driven leadership in Oyo State.
Reacting to the show of support, Hon. Ajibola Idris Abiola expressed appreciation to the youths, stakeholders, and residents of Ibadan North for the confidence reposed in him.
He reaffirmed his commitment to delivering purposeful, efficient, and effective representation if elected, assuring constituents that he would remain a strong voice for the people and continue to advocate for the growth and development of Ibadan North Constituency I.
