UI Students Cry Out, Call Seyi Makinde, UI Management Over Unbearable Armed Robberies In Agbowo

The residents of the Agbowo, Kajola and other University of Ibadan environs has decried the increment in the armed robbery cases in the Community.

The daily report of the robbery cases majorly from the University students residing in the community has been on the rise with little or no effort from the Police, Amotekun and other security outfits in the state.

A victim, while speaking with Oyo Mind, explained that, “armed robbers share the same power with the Oyo state government. Ibadan residents can no longer sleep with their two eyes closed. At the moment, there is tension everywhere, those in authority should address this before it gets out of hand, the existence of Security outfits as well as the Government should not only be felt during the elections.

She further admonished the University of Ibadan to look into this because, lives and properties of students are no longer safe.
