A prominent associate and friend, Mr. Saheed Suberu, has congratulated Oloye Abiola Iyiola on his installation as the Bada of Ibadanland by the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin I.
In a statement made available to OYOMIND.COM Mr. Suberu described the conferment of the chieftaincy title as a testament to Oloye Iyiola’s dedication to tradition, community development, and the promotion of Ibadan’s cultural heritage.
“I heartily congratulate my dear friend and brother, Oloye Abiola Iyiola, on his well deserved installation as Bada of Ibadanland. His elevation is a clear recognition of his years of loyalty, humility, and exemplary service to our people,” he stated.
Mr. Suberu further expressed confidence in the capacity of the new Bada to uphold the dignity of the title and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of Ibadanland.
The Bada title is one of the notable positions within the Ibadan traditional hierarchy, with a legacy rooted in the city’s historical governance system.
