The Accord Party Candidate for Ibadan North West/SouthWest Federal Constituency, Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku has Commissioned two big projects, roads and solar powered street light for the people of his Constituency yesterday.
The people of Ogunleye, Fiat and Ladal community of ward 10 Ibadan Southwest local government could not hold their appreciation as the House of Representative candidate of Accord in Ibadan Northwest/Southwest federal constituency Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku brought their dead major access road off liberty road to life after a long period of neglect by successive government despite several failed promises.
Speaking at the commissioning program, Ajanaku promises to do more when given the opportunity to represent them at the national assemble.
“I don’t like making promises but whatever God has directed me to say or promised, i always try to make it come to fruition irrespective of my position.”
“When the leaders of the community came to our office at oke ado, they demanded for rubbles to fill the damaged part of their road, but upon our inspection of the area, we realized it will be better we move ahead by concreating the major damaged areas, especially the part that linked the community to Liberty road and filled other minor ones within the community. We also realized that the road will not be very useful if something urgent is not being done about a major culvert connecting a major session of the community to the other. And to the glory of God, that have also been repaired and concreted.”
While appreciating his kindness and service to humanity and communities under his federal constituency despite not holding any political office presently, the chairman of the community Mr Adedayo aka Sakamento and a former chairman who is now the grand patron of the area Pa Amusa Sadiku on behalf of the people of the community thank otunba Rotimi Ajanaku immensely and promised to return his kindness with their supports and votes during coming national assembly elections.
In a similar vein, less than 6hrs after visiting Joyce B, Olu Awe and Aminu community. Ajanaku redeemed pledge to provide the community with solar powered street light. This is said to be inline with his resolve to light up areas within his federal constituency in a way to help reduce insecurity and boost the confidence of the people of his federal constituency at night. According to him, this light-up project will not only assist in tackling insecurity but will also boost the economic life of his constituency as people will be able to do their business safely at night.
One of the representatives of the youth in the community Mr. Balogun Taiwo Hassan and Mr. Akin Aregbesola on behalf of the community thank Ajanaku for his prompt response to their yearning. In their words, a lot of people have been coming with various promises but nothing to show for it because they have always failed us. You have proved to us that you are a very reliable politician who act on his words. We appreciate you for this and by the grace of God we won’t be ungrateful.
