Oyo YPP Leader, Kehinde Ogunniyi Pays Condolence Visits to Late Aseyin’s Palace

The Leader of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Oyo State, Mr Matthew Kehinde Ogunniyi {EXPY} Pays Condolence Visits to Late Aseyin’s Palace, Oba Dr. Abdul Ganniyu Adekunle Salawudeen Oloogunebi Ajinase 1, who recently joined his ancestors.

Kehinde Ogunniyi, who joined multitude of other sympathizers particularly the Oke-Ogun people, Oyo state Indigenes and Nigerians as a whole to mourn the loss of the first class King in the region.

In his condolence remark, Mr Kehinde Ogunniyi described the late Oba as “a monarch who has genuine interest in the development and progress of his people” He added that Kabiyesi “possessed an enigmatic personality and has played a fatherly role to me, particularly in my political engagements and the fact that I am from the Oke-Ogun region. It further strengthened our Father-Son relationship”.

He continued, “Personally, I will forever be grateful to Kabiyesi for his advice and his enviable peace making and conflicts resolution styles. I will greatly miss him. Kabiyeis’s passing is not only a loss to Iseyin town or Oyo state, indeed it Is a great loss to the entirety of the Yoruba race”.

He extended his heartfelt condolence to Iseyin people, both home and far away, the royal family, traditional chiefs, the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs and the entire Yoruba race. “I pray that may Almighty God forgive him and grant him eternal rest” he added.

In his entourage were; the New YPP Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Jeleel Ojewole (JELAD) , DG Campaign, Mr Tolu Adebayo, Mr. Tunde Ogunniyi, party stakeholders amongst others.
