More than one year after Governor Seyi Makinde promised to provide two new buses for Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), the pledge remains unfulfilled, raising questions among football supporters over the prolonged delay despite repeated commitments from the Oyo State Government.
Governor Makinde made the promise in late July 2025 after commending the club’s performance and pledging to strengthen its operations with two brand-new buses ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. However, as of the end of July 2026, more than a year after the pledge was made, the buses have yet to be delivered.
