Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has forwarded the name of the Permanent Secretary, General Administration, Dr. Olabode Taiwo Ladipo, to the Oyo State House of Assembly (OYHA) for confirmation as a commissioner-nominee.
The governor also approved the appointment of Arc. Ifeoluwa Akande as Chairman of the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport Upgrade Committee, Hon. Isola Abiodun Adekunle as Executive Adviser on Intra-Party Affairs, and Hon. Oladejo Emmanuel Oladokun as Part-Time Member of the Local Government Service Commission.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, Ph.D., the appointments will take effect from July 1, 2026.
Governor Makinde congratulated the appointees and charged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, loyalty and commitment in the service of Oyo State.
