An investigation conducted by Thepage.ng have uncovered a major development involving Otunba Seye Famojuro, an influential ally of Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde and Chairman of the Oyo State Housing Cooperation, Hon. Ademola Omotosho.
Mr Famojuro is allegedly preparing to withdraw land allocations that were previously granted to various high-profile individuals, including members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, some commissioners, and former Chief Justice of Nigeria Olukayode Ariwoola.
The lands in question were initially allocated by the state Governor around the Ibadan metropolis, reflecting the state’s commitment to providing valuable resources to key figures.
However, Famojuro is now poised to use his considerable influence to retract these allocations. The plan involves redistributing the lands and offering alternative plots that are perceived to be of lesser value and quality compared to the original allocations.
This decision has raised significant concerns among the affected individuals, who are now facing the prospect of receiving less advantageous land compared to what was initially granted. The situation underscores the complex dynamics of political influence and land management within the state.
All the effort to reach out to Hon. omotosho and Otunba Seye Famojuro proved abortive.
