Chief Bayo Adelabu, the 2019 gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, has reconciled the aggrieved members of the UK branch of the state chapter of the party.
At the meeting, the Ife-trained former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria gave a brief analysis of the Seyi Makinde led administration, criticizing the way the administration has been handling various sectors especially the economy of the state.
He, however, laid emphasis on the need for all members of the party’s branch in the United Kingdom to sheath their sword and work together for the benefit of the party.
He noted that the party’s interest supercedes the personal interest of any of its members, adding that the ongoing reconciliation process of the party at the national level is a wide one noting that the party does not need any other reconciliation process in any branch.
In his own address, the chairman of the UK branch, Hon. Kola Saidu also urged members to bury all their grieverances, emphasizing that the party’s interest will always be above any individual interest.
Members at the meeting in their remarks lauded the efforts of the stakeholders, with agreement to come together and work for the success of the party.
