A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, Chief Ashipa Ismaila Osuolale has linked the crisis rocking the party to Governor Seyi Makinde.
In an article tagged “Mismanagement of Oyo State PDP”, Ashipa expressed that nothing can be linked to be the problem of the party other than the dearth of good leadership.
While emphasizing how Governor Makinde has mismanaged the party, he also stated that some elected officials such as the deputy governor, and some house of assembly members are also being mismanaged.
Chief Ismaila, who believed that the PDP would not have come to rule Oyo State in 2019 if there was no synergy with the coalitionadmitted that the coalition is presently not in existence due to the governor’s mismanagement.

“MISMANAGEMENT OF OYO STATE PDP”
“The Oyo state PDP had never had it low as this. The fault is to be placed at the corridor of the leader of the party, the Executive Governor of Oyo state, His Excellency, Egnr Seyi Makinde.
“Admittedly, the PDP won’t have come to rule Oyo state in 2019 if the Coalition was not consummated. The Coalition is presently non existent due to the mismanagement of no other person but Mr Gomina.
“The PDP party isn’t only mismanaged, some elected officials of this administration including the Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Egnr Raufu Aderemi Olaniyan and some Members of the Oyo state House of Assembly are also being mismanaged. Or how shall we assess a commercial bus in Ibadan without a conductor. Double palava for the driver of such vehicle.
“Therefore, there is nothing wrong with the Oyo state PDP as a party but the dearth of good leadership. Like begets like. And until the present crops of inarobos and tunfulus leaders are packed aside, same shameful stories prevail.
“Henceforth, I’ll stop blaming or criticising the vehicle, the Oyo state PDP but the driver, the leadership.
“Auxiliary cannot force me to change my name.”
