An Aspirant for Federal House of Representatives, Ogooluwa- Surulere Federal Constituency, Ojo Sunday Mokanjuola also known as SMATO has charged his constituents and entire people of Oyo State, youths in particular to make sure that priority is given to the registration and collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

Mokanjuola said this while responding to certain questions asked during an interactive session with some youths led by his media coordinator, Comrade Oyebamiji Timothy Victor (WHYTE) on 13th January 2022.

According to him “The past and current leaders have collapsed the political building and to rebuild, youths amongst others must prioritize getting their voters card. So I want to urge everyone to make sure that they go for registration and collection as an when due”.

Speaking on the importance of education to society, he said “If you have an understanding of science, discovery, and research you will not underestimate the value of education, education deepens your knowledge in whatever you are doing, education defines the content in you, it determines your understanding of science and art of religion, political, cultural and socioeconomic reasoning of people, Paul wrote 14 books in the New Testament most of God’s disciples were elites, the Bible you are reading today is as a result of education.

“Education is a light to give more meaning to our sense of reasoning, education could be bitter at the initial stage but the fruit at the end of the day will swallow the ignorance of not going to school. Education helps interns for connections, when you go to school you mingle with different set of people.”

He further addressed the reason why youths couldn’t get job opportunities after school, “Earnestly the current system of our education is outdated. This system is only valuable in the early fifties when Nigeria need people to work in industries but now, no industries to employ people because they are already filled up” he said.
