Ibadan, the Oyo State Capital is set to hold the Nigerian Photo-Cinema Exposition between February 9th and 11th, 2021.
This is contained in a press statement made available to OYOMIND.COM.NG by the organizer led by Sunday Oni, the Chief Executive Officer of Broadnet Multimedia Concept on Wednesday, 16th December 2020.
According to Oni, “The NPC Expo 2021 is an event set to showcase the incredible talents within the photography and cinematography sector in the Nigeria multimedia industry.”
He further said that “the exposition will provide a platform for attendees to learn from industry experts in Nigeria and also form new and lasting relationships with other lasting professionals.”
When asked about the objectives of the he event, Mr. Sunday explained that the event is to provide an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to interact and learn from experienced professionals within the industry and to promote the art and act of photography, amongst others.
On the question of how to financially equip participants of the event, Oni said they are partnering with different banks including the Bank of Industry (BoI) who can provide soft loans to participants. He, however, added that the event is not aimed at empowerment but added that there will be mentorship to ensure sustainability after the event.
The exposition is said to feature other industry giants like Tunde Odukoya, Lanre Esho, Photo Nimi amongst other accomplished members of the multimedia industry while more details about the events will be released as time goes on.
