Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Oyo APC candidate at the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state, has celebrated with the Deputy Chairman of OYO APC, Chief Adeyemo, as he joined the Septuagenarian Club.
While describing the celebrant as one of the committed leaders with undiluted interest of the party at heart, Chief Adelabu alluded to the fact that clocking eighty years on the surface of the earth especially in a country like Nigeria where average life expectancy is below fifty years is a rare priviledge from God.
According to him, “As Oyo APC Deputy Chairman, Chief Honourable Olalekan Adeyemo has been a strong pillar in the party state Exco, a mobilizer and grassroot politician to the core.
“I’m not surprised that Baba Adeyemo is enjoying such abundant grace and priviledge of longevity and good health because he truly deserves it, being a kind hearted and objective personality with impeccable integrity that so much believes in meritocracy, fairness and justice.
“Our relationship has been like that of father and son. I’ve learnt and benefited so much from his rich experience in the progressive politics in Oyo state. He’s a rare but amiable politician who gives his unconditional support without expectation of material gains. I wish him longer life and sound health.”
Chief Adelabu’s wishes for the celebrant were filled with admirable tributes and prayers, wishing him many more fruitful years on Earth in good health and abundant blessings.
