The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State has taken another significant step towards strengthening its campaign structure ahead of the 2027 general elections with the official commissioning of its campaign office.
The office was commissioned by the National Chairman of the APC, marking a significant moment for the party as it intensifies preparations, grassroots mobilisation and organisational efforts across the state.
Members and leaders of the Oyo State City Boy Movement were present at the commissioning, expressing their support for the party’s leadership and renewed efforts to consolidate its structures ahead of the 2027 polls.
The event also featured the presentation of 16 vehicles to the Oyo State City Boy Movement to support its mobilisation and campaign activities across the state.
The APC governorship candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, donated eleven vehicles, while the Oyo Central Senatorial District candidate, Senator Yunus Akintunde, donated five vehicles.
The vehicles are expected to enhance the operational capacity of the City Boy Movement and strengthen its grassroots mobilisation efforts as the group works to support the APC’s campaign and expand its reach across Oyo State ahead of the elections.
Speaking on the development, the Director of the City Boy Movement in Oyo State, Hon. Onireti, described the commissioning and donation of the vehicles as a demonstration of renewed commitment to party unity, effective organisation and victory in 2027.
He noted that the vehicles would further empower members of the movement to reach more communities, coordinate grassroots activities and contribute meaningfully to the APC’s mobilisation efforts across the state.
With campaign structures beginning to take shape, the Oyo APC and its support groups are expected to intensify mobilisation efforts across the state in the months ahead.
The party’s supporters, particularly members of the City Boy Movement, have declared their readiness for the political contest, insisting that they are fully prepared to support the APC in its quest for victory in 2027.
The road to 2027 is gathering momentum, with the APC and its grassroots structures positioning themselves for what promises to be a closely watched political contest in Oyo State.
