The initiative, tagged “OJE MUST CLEAN,” which aimed to promote a healthier environment, proper waste management, and community sensitization on environmental sanitation, garnered overwhelming support from the community’s youths and stakeholders.
The program also included educating the community on government guidelines for waste disposal and the importance of adherence in which women and leaders showed willingness to adopt new practices.
As part of the effort to engage stakeholders, the forum visited the market leaders to seek their support on the mission to develop and ensure that the community is placed on the global map.
The Coordinator, Abubakar Olalekan Bello on behalf of the forum expressed heartfelt appreciation to the community for their support and to the Environmental Task Force for their partnership in the initiative, highlighting the collective efforts towards a cleaner Oje.
He further stated that the forum pledged to make community service a time-to-time activity while calling upon stakeholders both at home and abroad to key into their plans to make the Oje Community of their dreams possible.
