In memory of his late father, Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin, the Speaker House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin has laid the foundation of two schools in Temidire- Ward 3 and Ojonamo – Ward 10, Lanlate.

The 33year old Speaker who recently commissioned a fully furnished Primary Healthcare Center and a mosque for the Muslim community at Lagaye and Oloro respectively in Ibarapa East lost his father 29 years ago, however, the memories of the late philanthropist and business tycoon, late Chief Adeseun Ogundoyin is unforgettable among his people especially Eruwa and entire Ibarapaland.

While laying the foundation of the first secondary school in Temidire which will have six standard classrooms, a staff room, and offices for principal staff, Ogundoyin noted that the project is to ease the stress of school children traveling kilometers daily to school.

He said, “My projects are strategic. They are base on the request of the people and most especially focus on solving problems bothering them.

” For instance, Temidire is an averagely populated rural community, and the closest secondary to them is Eruwa Community High School, which is about 8 to 11 kilometers away. So, school children travel this distance daily. It is definitely not convenient for children and their parents.

“The second school project at Ojonamo is a primary school structure. The school currently has just two classrooms for the entire pupils, which was built by the parents. That’s why we are building more classrooms, to decongest pupils’ population per class and ensure a more conducive environment for learning.

“We’re starting these projects today and God’s willing we will complete and commission them before the end of the year.

“My father died 29th years ago when I was still a four-year-old boy, but his legacy pave way for my political advancement. Till day, the people still miss him. They tell me a lot of things about him and honestly, I can say he set the bar too high. For now, we can only work and pray to attain it.

“I am grateful for the love the people always extend to the Ogundoyin family and we will always strive not to disappoint them.”
