He Was a Beacon of Hope, A Partner in Progress – Faozey Mourns Hon. Akinremi

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Faozey Oladotin Nurudeen has expressed sadness over the demise of House of Representatives Member, Honourable Prince Olaide Akinremi ‘Jagaban’ who died in the early hours of Wednesday, 10th July 2024.

In a statement made available to OYOMIND, Faozey described ‘Jagaban’ as a closed ally who was a beacon of hope for the younger ones and a true partner in progress.

According to him, the relationship he shared with Hon. Akinremi transcends politics as he pras that God brings comfort to his family and loved ones.

“I mourn the demise of Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi, whose passing is a profound loss to his family, constituents and all who benefited from his dedication to his constituents empowerment and development. He was truly the leader that led and the representative that represented.

“Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi was more than a politician – he was a beacon of hope for young people, urging them to strive for greatness and shape their communities positively.

“Transcending politics, Prince Akinremi was a brother with whom I shared life’s experiences. He was an ally I could depend on. He was my partner in progress, advancement and growth.

“He will be dearly missed.

“In total submission to Almighty Allah’s will, I pray his legacy continue to endure and his commitment to progress and development be always remembered.

“May the cherished memories of Hon. Prince Olaide Akinremi bring comfort to his family and constituents during this difficult time.“
