The power outage situation in the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan which has led to the downscaling of work time by staff is close to it’s end as interventions from the Honorable Minister of Power, Chief Bayo Adelabu and Hon. Olaide Akinremi Jagaban, the member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency yielded positive results following elaborate discussions and engagement with all stakeholders involved.

At the extensive meeting with representatives of the University College Hospital (UCH) and the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) which held at the instance of the Honorable Minister of Power and the Ibadan North Federal Rep., in Abuja earlier this afternoon, concrete resolutions and agreements were reached for the payments of owed fees, as well as the restoration of electricity to UCH.
As such, power will be restored to the University College Hospital (UCH) any moment, while the Honorable Minister of Power and the Ibadan North Federal Rep., will continue needed mediation among both entities, to ensure a smooth fulfillment of all agreements.
