The newly nominated Minister, Chief Abdulwaheed Adebayo Adelabu has reached Ibadan to celebrate his nomination with APC Chieftains and other supporters.
The Oyo APC Gubernatorial candidate in the 2019 election met with his loyal supporters at his foundation house in Jericho, Ibadan to celebrate his nomination as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria where he promised to move back to the APC in an upcoming mega celebration party.
OYOMIND.COM.NG earlier reports that the Nigerian Senate confirmed the nomination of Adelabu alongside twenty seven others by President Bola Tinubu.
He told APC Chieftains and his ardent supporters present at the mini celebration to maintain peace at all times within the APC.
He however further emphasized that, it is time to return home to the State Party APC, and the goal remains to promote peace among all warring factions and forge ahead.
He appreciated his supporters and APC Chieftains of their support and perseverance and briefed them about the upcoming mega celebration to decamp back to the APC in Oyo State.
“I might not be the Gubernatorial candidate of Oyo APC in 2023, I’m with my father all my support at the federal level is for President Ahmed Tinubu in 2023 Election” he added.
Many top dignitaries and APC chieftains were present at the meeting to show their solidarity to the new minister.
