The Special Assistant on Political Matters and Strategy to Ibarapa Central Local Government Chairman, Hon. Niyi Ogunbowale, has felicitated with the founder of the Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi Foundation, Mr. Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi, on the occasion of his birthday.

The award-winning Abuja-based real estate entrepreneur turns a year older on May 3, 2023.

The text of Hon. Ogunbowale was contained in a statement made available to Peoples Conscience in the noon hours of Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

According to the statement, the name Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi is synonymous with selflessness and generosity.

“Dominic Akinjide Fagbemi is our pride in Ibarapa Land; he has on different occasions demonstrated that there is joy in giving; there is nothing we can give to quantify the good work he is doing in the region.”

Hon. Ogunbowale expressed satisfaction for the kind of path the Ibarapa-born real estate developer has taken in life, praying to God to preserve his life for the betterment of Ibarapa Land and Nigeria as a whole.

“His financial contributions and moral support are second to none; it takes a good man to do great things. In the educational, sporting, and social advancement of our region without holding any political power, you have made a great deal of impact, and we appreciate you for this,” he said.

Hon. Niyi also urged youths in the region to emulate Akinjide’s humanitarian acts, which he termed “no-noise” philanthropy.

“It is not until you have everything on earth that you can give; today we all gather to celebrate what DAF is doing in the lives of the people and his various youth-driven initiatives in Ibarapa; it really takes a man with a large heart to record all these at his age, and we pray God continues to bless him.”

“On behalf of the youths in my circle, I wish you a year filled with all your heart desires,” the statement read.
