The President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Prince Oluyemisi Adeaga has shared his Manifesto for his re-election bid in the coming CCII election.
Adeaga, in his Manifesto examines his administration and the amount of success recorded while leading the Council and also shared other areas to improve on during his second term if elected.
He emphasized how his administration would improve CCII’s Internal Generated Revenue. He said the establishment of CCII online radio station and water factory is a matter of time.
He also explained effort geared towards intensifying the completion and furnishing of the new Olubadan Palace if reelected into office.
He said, “If re-elected, I promise to pursue the following programs in conjunction with members of the Executive and the General Assembly:
IMPROVE ON
MANAGEMENT TOOLS
The Constitution Review
Formulate and improve on existing CCII policies on Audit and Management, Procurement, Assets Acquisition and Management, Staff Recruitment and Management, Donor Funding Policy, etc., towards the upgrading of CCII into a relevant and reputable well-structured organization.
OLUBADAN PALACE UNDER CONSTRUCTION
An innovative approach combined with the present system that has broken the four-year deadlock on the palace construction is on the way. Good a thing that the people are eager to have it completed.
WALL OF FAME
The continuous development of the wall of fame would continue to be a priority. The impediment to continuity has been partly resolved. There are outstanding portraits of Baba Adedibu, Balogun Akere, and other notable Ibadan personalities qualified for such honor.
YOUTHS
Partnership with Industrial Training Fund to be intensified.
Deliberate sustainable strategies to create a cordial relationship between the CCII and Ibadan-based private companies to enhance the empowerment of our youths in their recruitment efforts.
Promotion of creative and innovative capabilities with an impact on societal growth on self-employment, Tradesmen efficiency, and general economic benefits to Ibadanland.
WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Women’s empowerment is key to social development. The immediate takeoff of CCII loan packages to cater to market women, Artisans, and petty traders, etc.
Impactful ways to consolidate on the involvement of our women folk and be gender-sensitive in CCII affairs.
INCLUSIVITY
All of us are humans, and membership of CCII is by affiliate clubs whose representatives’ function in the organization. In this regard, we shall maintain our respect for human dignity, irrespective of sex, religion, and political affiliations. We shall continue to run an all-inclusive administration if given a second chance.
EXPANSION OF REVENUE
The establishment of CCII online radio station, which has reached the advance stage to take off soon.
The establishment of CCII water factory, which has also reached an advanced stage, awaiting Town planning approval.
Inculcating the interest of more Ibadan sons and daughters, particularly those in the diaspora who have not been captured in the CCII membership net.

Work towards assessing local/foreign donors for community-impacting and development programs through our current National engagement in a foremost humanitarian organization.
