The 6th Editon of the Pacesetter Entertainment and Recognition Awards PERA will hold on Sunday the 4th of December at Mauve 21 event centre
The 2022’s edition which will be anchored by Doyin Kukoyi and Taiwo Ibikunle is powered by Marikina Fun Place and packaged by C.O.K Media.
PERA will focused on honouring veterans that have contributed immensely to the growth of the Pacesetter state.
Veteran Entertainers to be awarded include, fuji musician, Alhaji Rasheed AYINDE aka Merenge who has contributed immensely to the growth of the Fuji music. He will be honoured with PERA MUSIC ICON AWARD
Prince Bisi OLATILO, a veteran broadcaster, who was as a pioneer member of the Broadcasting cooperation of Oyo state (BCOS) with over 40 years experience in the broadcasting sector will also be honoured with PERA MEDIA ICON AWARD.
Also, Sunday Omobolanle (MON) aka Pappy Luwe, who is a legendary Nigerian comic actor, playwright, film director, and producer. He is known for his unique versatile comic roles and has been in the sector for over 4 decades. He will be honoured with PERA COMEDY ICON AWARD.
PERA was established to acknowledge, encourage and celebrate excellence
amongst indigenes and residents of Oyo state who have made an indelible mark in their chosen career.
