Kehinde Ogunniyi, YPP Gubernatorial Candidate Mourns Aseyin

Kehinde Ogunniyi, the gubernatorial candidate of the Young Progressives Party for Oyo state has mourned the loss of Aseyin of Iseyinland, late Oba Abdulganiyu Salawudeen, who was announced to have joined his ancestor, yesterday after a brief illness.

Ogunniyi, who also joined multitude of well meaning individuals and politicians to be one of the most loving and peace loving monarch.

He described him as “one who dedicate his life to engaging peace and conflict resolution during his reign. Kabiyesi also brought his wealth of experience and wisdom to better the people of the ancient town of Iseyin, Oke Ogun and Oyo state in general”.

Kabiyesi was a great king and I can’t forget his last message that keep ringing in my ear every moment, when he said, “No one from Oke-Ogun should meet me for a deputy governorship position or any deputy positions, why can’t we have Governor from Oke Ogun or be principal of major positions”… The Ikolaba of Iseyinland, High Chief Ismail Odubiyi in his palace at Ìséyìn where I declared my intention to lead the emergence of youths in the political space.

Ogunniyi, who also hail from Tede, Atisbo Local Government, Oke Ogun region of the State also Condoled with the good people of Iseyin, the Oke Ogun region and Oyo State in general.
