Ban lifted on suspended Chiefs, Installation of Mojagis, and Baales to be effective starting from early next month, June 2022.
A meeting comprising the Council held at Alarere Compound of Olubadan.
According to the report unveiled by High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola, the Otun Balogun of Ibadanland, those present were High Chiefs; Otun Olubadan – designate, High Chief Owolabi Olakunlehin; and the erstwhile helmsmen of Oyo State, Sen. Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
Announcement was made that the Olubadan-in- Council unanimously concurred to commence their upliftment of both the High Chiefs and Chiefs who were suspended in the threshold of Ramadan, their promotion will be effective in the early week of next month, June.
” After lifting ban on the suspended chiefs, aftermath, the Iyalode line would be the next”. The council was given pieces of advice to maintain orderliness and none should sidetracked in the elevation of the Chiefs, Mogajis and Baales”.
The present Olubadan-in-Council were High Chief Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe (Osi-Balogun), Kola Adegbola (Ashipa Balogun), Olubunmi Dada Isioye (Ekerin Balogun) and Abiodun Azeez Agagagugu (Ekerin Balogun)
Conclusively, in attendance were High Chiefs Eddy Oyewole, Osi-Olubadan designate; Hamidu Ajibade, Ekerin Olubadan – designate; Abiodun Kola – Daisi, Ashipa Olubadan – designate.
