The TSG Advocacy Hub in Oyo State has reaffirmed its commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections, declaring total support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other party candidates across the state.
The resolutions were reached at the group’s Post-APC Primary Elections and Sallah Celebration meeting held on Saturday at its state secretariat in Yemetu, Ibadan.
The communiqué from the meeting was signed by the Convener, Hafiz Oladejo, alongside State Coordinator Hon. Oye Alamu and State Secretary Hon. Kazeem Adebayonle Sanni.
The meeting, attended by representatives of 76 registered support groups, also featured the unveiling of a grassroots mobilisation platform aimed at strengthening APC’s structure at the polling unit level.
Members unanimously congratulated Tinubu on his emergence as the APC presidential flagbearer for the 2027 election and pledged unwavering support for all party candidates in Oyo State.
The endorsement covers the governorship candidate, Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, as well as candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives, and the State House of Assembly.
As part of efforts to boost political mobilisation, the group launched the “TSG Grassroots Mobilisation Platform,” designed to coordinate the registration and engagement of pro-Tinubu supporters nationwide, with immediate focus on all 33 local government areas of Oyo State.
The meeting also stressed the importance of unity among APC support groups, urging members to utilise the TSG State Secretariat for meetings and activities while strengthening collaboration across the board.
Participants commended the role of Gbagbe-Osi Ni Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GOBAT) in the emergence of the TSG Advocacy Hub and called for sustained synergy among political stakeholders.
Special recognition was given to Oladejo for his leadership of the group.
In a further show of solidarity, members passed a unanimous vote of confidence on Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, describing him as a key leader and mentor.
Tegbe, identified as the principal sponsor of TSG in Oyo State, was also commended for supporting the Sallah celebration for members, community leaders, and religious stakeholders.
As part of the celebration, Sallah gifts were distributed to coordinators and executives across all levels of the organisation, including representatives from the 33 local government areas, zonal and senatorial coordinators, and affiliated support groups.
The meeting recorded wide participation, with all 33 LGA coordinators and secretaries, seven zonal coordinators, three senatorial coordinators, executives of the TSG Advocacy Hub, and representatives of the 76 registered support groups in attendance.
