Taoreed Lawal Foundation Empowers Another set of 1,000 Market Women In Ibadan

No fewer than 1000 women in Ibadan benefited from the Market Women Intervention program organized by Taoreed Lawal Foundation in Ibadan, Nigeria.

The program which held on Saturday in Adelabu market at Orita Challenge in Ibadan, Oyo state, was done to provide aid to women & youth to ease the ripples of the hardship of their business.

In a statement signed by the owner and made available to journalists, MR Taoreed Lawal, said the empowerment was to empower our mothers and sisters in these dire times. He also said that empowerment should be seen as imperative & an economic responsibility by everyone to alleviate poverty & realize sustainable development goals.

Some of the features of the program include provisions of parasols, foodstuffs, face masks, shirts, amongst many other things. There was also a dialogue with the women and men on market health and hygiene tips by medical personnels.

In the vote of thanks done by the Chairman of the market, he thanked the Founder of the foundation and wished more engagements like this are done more often.
