Oyo Youth Coalition demands better representation, recommends Ayodeji Karim

The Coalition of leading socio-political groups in Oyo State under the umbrella of “Oyo Progressive Mandate” has appealed to the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, to prioritize competence, good character and antecedents in the selection of cabinet members.

The group, in a special release, emphasized that Nigerians during the elections were convinced in the abilities of his Excellency to deliver on his campaign promises and so expects the assemblage of competent hands to run efficient administration, adding that Oyo State being central in the affairs of the South West region demands a better representation in the `Renewed Hope’ administration.

This Coalition described Ayodeji Karim as one of the best technocrats in the state capable of quality representation and immense contribution to the administration.

“Ayodeji Ismail Karim is a renowned technocrat and accomplished construction professional, he became the MD/CEO of Costain West Africa plc, a publicly quoted company of the Nigerian Stock Exchange as the Youngest CEO at the age of 37 offering extensive experience in directing construction activities including national and international projects management accross diverse sectors.

Ayodeji Ismail Karim is an outstanding professional, a recipient of multiple awards, a former British Soldier, a philanthropist, an enterpreneur and a prominent politician.

He was a leading contender for APC gubernatorial primaries in 2019 and top contender and aspirant for Oyo South Senatorial district party primaries in 2023, he served as the National Financial Secretary for NAMBO 2019 and National Treasurer 2023 amongst others”.

NAMMBO is one of the five acknowledeged national support groups for the Presidential campaign of the APC 2023, Progressive Mandate Group hereby appealed that this new administration consider men who have distinguished themselves among equals, stayed with the party despite provocations and cheap alternative offers over the years and not reward those who have been disloyal to the party.
