Oyo Lawmaker, Oyekunle ‘Don’ Set To Hold Poverty Alleviation Programme for Constituents

In his continuous effort to fulfil his campaign promises and to compliment the unrelenting effort of governor Seyi Makinde, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1, Hon. Fola Oyekunle (DON) has finalized the arrangement to equip more than 20 schools within his constituency with educational materials.

Hon. Fola made this known to press while itemizing all items he has in stocked to empower people of of his constituency.

“Our empowerment programme is coming up on the 23rd of February 2022, at the NTA Complex, Agodi Gate, most of the beneficiaries will get tricycles (Keke-Napep), motorcycles for commercial purposes, grinding machines, sewing machines and cash worth over 5 million will be given away to our people to boast their businesses, almost all schools will also get educational materials for student uses.

Fola Oyekunle (DON) who is passionate with human resources development maintained that when young people are given qualitative education with necessary materials they become useful to themselves, families, communities, and the nation.

He also said, the scheduled empowerment programme will go a long way to relieve the financial needs of the selected beneficiaries, disclosed that, such gesture he is making is to fulfil his campaign promises and to add to the good governance of governor Seyi Makinde.

“It is very necessary to give back to society, i made the promise that if voted, I will get our constituency back on track for good governance, the scheduled empowerment program is another opportunity for our people to get the dividend of democracy, thou, the items will not go round, but, since it is in batches, those who left out out now will be the first to benefit from next programme” Hon. Fola added
