The Oyo state Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Honourable Seun Fakorede has mourned the demise of Asigangan of Iganganland, late Oba Lasisi Adeoye Adewuyi.
Fakorede, in a statement made available to OYOMIND described his death as “devastating”,
“One fact that cannot be denied is that Kabiyesi was committed to the overall wellbeing of his people during his lifetime and he displayed royalty throughout his time on earth. During his reign, Igangan Land witnessed significant progress and residents prospered accordingly”.
He further pray for deceased King as “It is my utmost belief that the Oba will be accepted by his ancestors as he ascend the world beyond. May his memories continue to be blessed”
