OOF To Organize Essay Competition, Winner to Become a One-Day Chairman

The Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation, OOF has stated that the winner of the 2020 essay competition would be selected as a One Day chairman of the foundation among other benefits to be accrued to him or herself.

In a newsletter signed by the founder and Chairman, Engineer David Olusegun Okanlawon on 24th November 2020, the deadline for the submission of the essay is slated for 20th December 2020 after which a date for oral defense will be scheduled to affirm ownership.

According to Okanlawon, contestants to be awarded a one day chairman must be between age 12 and 18years with evidence of certificate of birth.

The news letter reads in part:

BE OUR ONE-DAY CHAIRMAN

While preparations for the upcoming events unfold, the management of the foundation has introduced a section for young and brilliant pupils to participate.

Just the way we do witness events like a one day Governor, we are going to have a one day Chairman who will stand in place of the founder, Engr David Olusegun Okanlawon during the grand finale of the sports program in December.

The modalities involved are highlighted below;

Contestants for the position of the Day chairman should be between ages 12-18 years.
b, He or she must participate in an essay competition which would be submitted before the 20th of December, 2020.
c, He or she must attach a scanned copy of his/her passport and certificate of birth.
d, Essay should not be less than 250 words and more than 450 words.

Selection and Privileges.

-Just one contestant with the best essay would be selected to be our One day Chairman.
-Such pupil would be rewarded with a sum of #20,000 as a token of excellence

  • He/She would have access to souvenirs on the D-day
  • He/She would be the chairman of the day’s event

Note:
1) There would be an oral defense of the essay to affirm ownership. The date and venue for that would be announced.
2) Each participant should include the following information preferably before the essay. They are;
a) Full name
b) Home address
c) Town
d) a contact number (might be for the participant or family).
