Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Moor Plantation, Ibadan has confirmed the accreditation of a new course, Veterinary Laboratory Technology (VLT) at National Diploma level by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
This is contained in a release made available to OYOMIND.COM.NG that applicants who wrote the 2019 UTME and scored above 120 can now apply for the newly accredited course (VLT).
“The general public is hereby notified that the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) Kaduna, the National Body that coordinates National and Higher National Diploma programs has accredited Veterinary Laboratory Technology (VLT) at National Diploma Level in the college alongside the existing programmes.
“Application are invited from interested and suitable candidate for admission into full time 2 years National Diploma in the newly accredited course – Veterinary Laboratory Technology (VLT). Therefore, interested candidates who wrote the 2019 UTME and scored 120 and above with the prescribed O/Level subject should apply.
ENTERY REQUIREMENTS
NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN VETERINARY LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY (VLT)
Candidates must hold WASC or FCE “O” level or SSCE or NECO with a minimum of five (5) credit passes, obtained at not more than two sittings. The five subjects must include Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Economics, English Language, Geography, Mathematics, Physics and Statistics. Candidates must in addition obtain at least PASS grades in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry.
