Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has distributed over one thousand computers to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Oyo State.
In a statement made by the governor on Thursday, 17th December 2020, the step is in furtherance of the e-governance plan of his administration.
Makinde also stated that infrastructure to support communication between the MDAs with or without internet access were provided.
“We have deployed high speed internet and intranet connectivity across all MDAs in the secretariat, and put in place structures for the implementation of statewide productivity and collaborative tools, official emails and capacity building for all civil servants.
“The next step in the process of achieving our plan for e-governance is business process automation to fully automate and digitise the approval process of all government activities and make it more efficient” he said.
