Ibadan was agog following the installation ceremony of Chief Abiola Iyiola as the Jagun Olubadan by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Dr Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Alli-Okunmade II on Friday, 24th June 2022.
Eminent personalities from all walks of life, technocrats, business professionals and politicians crowded the installation ceremony to celebrate with the new Jagun of Ibadanland.
The newly installed Jagun Olubadan Abiola Iyiola was the first person from his compound to be elevated from Mogaji position to Jagun, a feat he was grateful to God for.
When speaking during the course of the occasion, Chief Iyiola said, “I am really grateful and I appreciate God for his grace over me. I also appreciate the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Olalekan Balogun for his support which I have always enjoyed. This is a great feat in my life and it’s a great opportunity to have come this far. I must not forget the cooperation of the members of the Olubadan-in-council, the senior chiefs, fellow junior chiefs and other Mogajis.”
Oloye Iyiola also appreciated eminent guests, business associates, friends, well-wishers and supporters whose presence made the event memorable and worthwhile.
