The Oyo State Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development has announced the approval for the request of the Federation of Oyo State Students Union (FOSSU) to build the Union’s Secretariat.
The letter signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Olayiwola Olusegun Emmanuel announced that, “after through consideration of your request, the Executive Governor of Oyo State has graciously approve the allocation of One acre of land to the Federation of Oyo State Students Union within the Stage Government land bank beside the Federal Housing Estate along Oyo-Ibadan Expressway, Akinyẹle Local Government Area, Ibadan.
Governor Makinde, who fulfilled his pledge be made earlier has assured the FOSSU National of his support towards the actualization of the completion of the Project. Makinde through the office of the Special Assistant on students’ affairs, said, “we are waiting for the architectural design of the buildings and we will in one or the other support the Union to achieve this Project completion”.
Honourable Olayiwola Olusegun further congratulated the Union and pleaded to the Union to make good use of the opportunity”.
