The Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2019 election, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin attended meeting together with the national leaders of the Oyo State All Progressive Congress (APC) in Abuja.
According to report by OYOINSIGHT.COM, Senator Lanlehin along others were summoned by the leadership of the party.
OYOMIND.COM.NG recalls that Lanlehin left the progressive folds prior to 2015 general election and all efforts to make him return even before 2019 proved abortive.
The sources further added that the call for the meeting is to smoothened reconciliation efforts within the APC in the state.
As at the time of filing this report, another round of meeting involving former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, former deputy governor, Moses Alake Adeyemo, Chief Akin Oke, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, Sen. AbdulFatai Buhari, Sen. Teslim Folarin, Mr. Sunday Dare, Hon. Dokun Odebunmi, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Sen. Ayo Adeseun, Sen. Adesoji Akanbi, Lanlehin, Barr. Adebayo Shittu and Prof. Adeolu Akande is ongoing.
