Ibadan Agog as Influential Personalities Join Olajide Family to Bid OG Alamu Farewell

The City of Ibadan was agog as influentials and well-meaning technocrats stormed the City to celebrate the well-lived life of Alhaji Olajide Ganiyu Alamu popularly known as OG Alamu on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

The sons and associates of the deceased include, Hon, Engr Lukman Ganiyu, Hon Kayode Opeifa, Former commissioner of transport Lagos state, Mr Sofela, Ambassador, Nigerian citizen in the United Kingdom, Mr. and Mrs. Omitoki Lagos electricity distributor company, Ambrose Odamah, Mr Solomon Obomighie, Special Adviser to Edo State Governor, Mr Michael Kehinde, the Commander under the AIG Zone2, Mrs Folasade Ganiyu, Mrs Ganiyu Tinuola.

Honourable Lukman Ganiyu, the chairman of Astryber Nig. Ltd. described his father as one who lived his life guided by the principles of the religion, constitution, and conscience, “my father was always supportive of every individual and that’s why you hardly find one sector which he doesn’t have influence, his sweat and actions are what we are reaping the benefits both in his lifetime and after he died”.

Sofela, who is the ambassador of Nigerian Citizen in the UK also described baba, as he fondly called him as the one who always encourage acting of good deeds and patriotism as well as the good spirit of brotherhood, he will surely be missed as I believed that he lived a fulfilled life”.

Kazeem Adegoke also prayed for Baba during the fidau prayer and wished everyone to take home and act in one or the other, a good life our baba lived.
