In the spirit of the celebration of Eld-il Kabir, Honourable Akintunde Salako popularly called FUBU through his Akintunde Salako Foundation has sent his wishes to Muslim faithfuls in Oyo State.
The Ibadan North Local Government born philanthropist in his felicitation message urged Muslims in the state to share love and goodwill of this festive period with families and neighbours.
“It is a pity that the coronavirus pandemic has hit the world that most of our religious activities have to be held strictly on lay down guides by government. Nonetheless, we must be an agent of change in our community by subscribing to the precautionary measures from time to time.
” It is well understood that the economic activities have been affected too, hence, this festive period is an avenue to share love and goodwill with people around us” he said.
Salako in his philanthropic way has distributed cash and food items worth more than two million naira to indigenes of Oyo State for the celebration of Eid-el Kabir and to as well cushioning the effect of covid-19.
Akintunde Salako Foundation is a platform created to aide philanthropic gestures and capacity development.
